so part way through a wet room, have followed Impey instructions

1) Mount 4x2 to the side of existing joists set down to allow for 22mm WPB inserts
2) fit 22mm WPB insert panels flush with the top of the joists

As this is a 50's house the joists are quite weathered so I decided to run a plane across the tops to make sure they were totally smooth. I then ran my bubble over it and it looked fine however to be safe I ran another layer of 3.6mm WPB across the top of everything, fixing every 6-8 inches.

I now lay my aquadec down and fix it to the floor however when I put a glass of water on the former and stamp (not overly aggressive) I can see small vibrations in the water... So i'm stumped as usually when I do bathroom floors there's no vibration at all :(

Really not sure where to go with this next... As I see it I can do the following:

1) Lift the aquadec for the 10th time and perhaps add another layer of thicker WPB however as the floor is flat i'm not sure what this will achieve.

2) Put a base of gripfill under the dec stacking weights on it overnight until it has gone off

3) Drill the aquadec in a few other places and screw to base.

4) Leave it as it is, i'm totally mad and this is normal and will be fine once the weight of the tiles are on it

I know 2&3 are a bodge but am totally stumped. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok, spoke to Impey technical and they said '3' so screw it down in a few extra places as the membrane is the thing not to breach, the aqua dec is simply for the fall and waste.

I've drilled and screwed in a few places and it's made all the difference :) Just need to make sure the screws are below the surface and there are no burs on them...
