Architect PWD 1264 Thermostat Shower Fitting

Could anyone tell me how on earth I affix this to the shower wall. It comes with no fitting instructions or even brackets to affix. The only way I can see is by stabilizing it through the wall onto the water inlet pipes. Surely, however this will cause unecessary load on the actual pipe fittings.

This looks exactly like the shower I have, and as you say it isn't fixed to anything other than the hot and cold pipes.
My pipes come through the wall about 3 cm, so the load on them is quite small. I suppose the screw on covers that fit over the pipes are taking a % of the load, although on mine there are not terrifically strong.
