Put your money in, or not, it is your choice. But don't think it makes you the arbiter of what is right or wrong. It's much deeper than your simplistic view.

Hopefully they will still have enough money and resources to look after you (or others) if you ever need their help. I don't think they ask for proof of donation before they turn out to SAVE LIVES

So not only are they not patrolling the coastline, they are going offshore to actually bring them in. Disgraceful.

Why were you never so concerned with the Previous Government, that actually really got us much deeper into this mess ?

I was. They didn’t do the job I expected them to do so like many others, they didn’t get our vote at the last GE.

So you agree it isbn't a recent issue and cannot be sorted just at the drop of a hat.

Shouting go back, and sticking "no entry" signs on the beaches just doesn't work. farage tried that , didn't he

Yeah, it’s not a recent issue and I do believe it could be stopped fairly quickly if someone in charge grew a pair.
Tories said "stop the boats" they didn’t. They’re out.
Labour said "smash the gangs". They haven’t. It’s getting worse. They’ll be out.
Reform says they’ll stop the boats within a couple of weeks. If they don’t, they’ll be out.
Why is it that some on here are keen to give the Tories and Labour a chance to deliver on their pledges but not Reform?

I want tougher measures on the small boats, but I draw the line at sending people back to their country to be tortured.

I agree Labour aren't acting fast enough, or not getting the message across if they are. But I still think they can have a bit more time, they know it will be a major issue at any elction so I'm sure they are acting. Getting laws changed in other countries to help, is a good start but not highly publicised for example.

I'm not ready to nail my colours to the mast for any party yet, but Reform policies just don't add up, and I don't like their divisive approach so they are highly unlikekly to get any support from me.

Hopefully Labour and the new Corbyn party will split and give us a true left and centre parties. But again, way too soon to decide. A week is a long time in politics, and there's a lot of weeks left yet.
