must stop rushing...
so far today I missed one cable connection on 2 panels ( identical, built at the same time ), forgot to put the lable bar on ( plastic "rail" with clip on letters and numbers ) and managed to put the wrong colour wire in for one connection...
in my defence, I was alone in the factory ( bar the secretary ) with the gaffers out on site and the other guys over the road working in the other unit, and was being rushed to get the panels done..
the cable connection I mistook for an external one ( the panel goes out half empty to be finished in the machine by their guys ), and the wire of the wrong colour is the only one of that colour in the whole panel ( I put in violet for 24VAC like the rest, not 24VDC which is from an external source.. )..
still, 20 mins rectification and all the faults were fixed, but I still don't like that I'm not up to speed with the little quirks of the place yet.. I suppose it takes months if not years to learn all the tricks off by heart.....
it doesn't help that they have a few customers who's spec's contradict each other ( one customer uses white for 0V, AC or DC and violet / dark blue for 24V AC or DC respectively, while another uses violet for 0V and white for 24V and doesn't use DC.. ) and "standard" panels that have about half a dozen different versions..
