I have a ariston combi a 24 mffi and the timer was broke, it also didn't have a room thermostat so I fitted a wireless thermostat/timer. Ever since this has been fitted the fan doesn't go off when the heating goes off, the thermostat/timer is wired as per the instructions so this is confusing me a little, is it just a coincidence that a sensor has gone in the shut down sequence just after I fitted the timer or is it something iv done (most likely)
The fan goes off if you knock the power to the boiler off then turn it back on again.
