Hello All,

My Ariston Genus is not starting properly when I turn the shower on. If turn the kitchen tap on a small amount and then turn it off it seems to click in and if I then turn it the right amount it fires and works. I can then turn the shower on and go back and turn the kitchen tap off and the boiler will continue to work.

What is going on?

I recently had the bathroom taps changed. The water pressure seems higher on the shower now... any ideas.

I think the overflow pipe is releasing water too although I have not seen it do so but there is a water build up below the pipe.

Please help

Have you the MI's? If so look for either a diaphragm or flow switch. Don't know Ariston very well so I don'yt know which this uses.

If a diaphragm then replace it, and like wise if a flow switch.
