The Ceilings in our lounge has been artex-ed, how do I get this off or can it be plastered over ?? advice needed urgently to get the wife off my case

you can buy e tex i think its called from jewsons paint it on and leave for 2 hours and scrape off or buy some pa glue mix 1 part glue to 3 parts water paint it on ceiling then have it skimmed it looks much better and saves you a lot of work and hassle off your missus
