Attic storage

So I’m considering putting some flooring down for some light weight storage in the roof space above my garage between the end wall joist and the existing rsj by adding some extra bearers to the space and putting some dynabolts under each new bearer to the end joist to make sure it will take the weight of the new bearers, flooring and storage, been told that will be more than enough on that side
My question is would I need to restrain the rsj on the other side to prevent any movement, if so what’s the best way to do that
