no disrespect to anyone but i think you barking up the wrong tree....
if it only occurs when wet or damp then i bet its to white multiplug for the throttle pedal thats corroded...
you will find this if you take ya wiper arms off
take off scuttle trim at bottom of windscreen
drivers side you will see eng ecu
take out but leave wires connected
then look down to see a few multiplugs
disconnect white plug and i bet you'll see green corroded connectors
clean up if poss and i bet it you'll have it fixed.
