Auto-ranging measure Ohms

Am looking for a DIY meter that will measure any resistors without having to switch through various values (ie able to measure a resistor by just switching to the OHM sign).
Have come across this:

"autoranging" is indeed the term for a multimeter that switches between ranges automatically. Note that this does take time and some meters are faster at selecting the range than others.

That meter should be fine for measuring most normal resistors, though you can certainly buy resistors that are too high or too low value for it to measure properly.
 
I bought Snap-on Auto ranging meter that I use at work most days, very quick at selecting correct range etc.

I think its a Fluke to be honest, normally you get what you pay for..
