i have recenty got a new house with a baisi 24s combi boiler 1999 model it wont ignite when the water tap is turned on it can be heard runing but no flame or igniter is not sparking the green led is on and when switched the relay on the pcb can be heard clicking the gas is reading over 1.5bar could any one help point me in the right direction or were to check first

You could check the overheat stat under the black cover with a slot above and to left of pressure gauge. If its triped then the boielr has overheated and can be reset by pressing the central pink button if its sticking out.
This is to protect the boiler and if pressed many times will operate at alower temperature.
If this does not make it work you may need to call someone.
