BAL WP1 Tanking - Is the primer and tape required ?

Hello,

I'm doing my shower enclosure walls, they're standard plasterboard which I'm tanking with BAL WP1 Tanking system before putting the tiles up with waterproof adhesive. I have joined the panels and corners with tape and jointing plaster.

So the qeustion is...

Do I need BAL primer and tape as well as the normal coating or can I just put the coating on to the plasterboard ?

Best to use the kit as per the manufacturers instructions,will give you a sound job.
