ballpark prices for plastering?

My kitchen is now pretty much back to brick after trying to remove some tiles and wallpaper ended with large chunks of plaster comming off..

I'm getting my mates dad to come and price me a new plaster job and was just wondering what the going rate is ( per linear foot I assume?)?

I'm in the west midlands for reference.

you assume wrong...its gonna be per metre (or foot) squared and depending how much they like you

He may price it on what the jobs worth as opposed to a m2 price...basing it on what he wants per day, which should loosly reflect the square metre price but will be rounded up.
