Hi,
I'd like to add a banister/hand rail along my garden wall.

This is so that my childen don't fall from the drop and to get them to use the steps.

I was thinking of building a timber/decking style banister in the style below.

However, I'm uncertain the best way to go about this. My main issue with best place/way to fix the posts.

Anyone have any ideas?

Bolt down Metposts like THESE should be solid enough when fixed into those concrete blocks. They are not the prettiest looking things but you can wrap them with some timber offcuts to disguise them a bit.

other options is to sink the posts in behind the wall, I had to do this with my mothers.
