I have an old but tidy hand crank start Barford 2 tonne dumper, but the gearbox has just shot itself into pieces.
Unfortunately I cannot find a replacement. I can easily find gearboxes for Thwaites and Benford but the Barford is different I understand. Am I wasting my time looking?
As a runner it was only worth about £500 anyway, but I hate to scrap it as the rest, bodge, brakes, tyres, hydraulics, steering, and starting are all very good.
