Hi all

thanks in advance for any contributions.

I'm installing a very small basin, which has it's own waste and 35mm 200mm long horizontal extension tube beyond the waste, which I'm intending to use.

I really really really want to use a waste pipe to take this to the soil stack, - (a run of approx 1m with a good slope on it, and one 90 degree bend near the top) which will fit inside a 36mm brass handrail (don't ask!)

Can I get away with using 22m waste for this - if not - is there anything between 22mm and 30mm you could recommend?

cheers

thank you

Stephen

the standard answer is no. as it wont cope with the waste water and could freeze if its on the outside of the building, but by all means try it and let us know!!

A small bore waste may well draw the water from the trap when it drains.

Would the horizontal trap extension (35 mm, 200mm long) be enough to stop the small bore drawing out the trap?

Also, my plan B is to use the brass handrail itself as the waste - I'll post separately on this as it's quite a different basket of bananas.

Thanks all

Stephen
