I've notice that most acrylic baths I have seen fitted have timber strengthening frames to prevent the bath flexing. Is this just a feature of cheap baths or is it good practice to put a frame together whenever you install a bath? Any tips on building a frame?
A 2 grand squirty bath I happen to have about my person hasn't got any framing at the top, but a square steel tube one around/under the bottom.
Cheap baths do benefit from wall battens, wood blocks so the legs can be shortened, lumps of 4x2 between their bases and the floor, and generally Gripfilling to everything.
