hi ive got an old steel bath and the wastes from the bath and from the sink are lead will i be able to attach a new bath to these wastes and what can i use ie will copper solder to lead waste.

If I was you; I would rip out the lead waste pipes and install new plastic pipw work.

the problem with ripping out all the lead is that it runs out from the wall under concrete part of my yard as the bathroom is on the ground floor.
Fernco connectors - you can get them in Plumbcenter and most other plumbing merchants.

so is the idea to keep the lead wastes and just use a fernco connector to join it to plastic wastes.as long as i dont crack the lead waste as im disconnecting it.
