Bath Pop Up Overflow Cover with no screws removal

I have a pop up waste overflow on my bath and the cover has no Grub screw hole so not clear how it can be removed looked at a number of on line forums and have not found any answers.
I think it must ‘pop on’ somehow but dont want to risk breaking it with brute force trying to take it off.

Any ideas anyone?

Is there a way of checking if it unscrews versus pop on ? Cannot see make anywhere. Thanks
