Bath tap connectors

Hi all

Just about finishing up getting the plumbing ready for parents new bathroom.
Just have a quick question about pipe diameters and tap connection.
They have a gravity fed system with 22mm pipe going to the hot water on the bath...everything else is 15mm.....we didnt change anything we just moved it about instead. My question is mainly about the 22mm pipe and its connection to taps we have yet to get for the bath.

i think most taps have 15mm connecction at the tap end??? Is that correct??

Basically just wanted to know how a 22mm pipe connects to a 15mm tap connector....or are there just 22mm to 15mm flexi tap connectors

most bath taps that you find that are 15mm are cartridge taps and won't be any good on gravity system.

what use is that 15mm x 3/4" ? when the pipes 22mm and the taps 1/2"
