Hi all.
My ongoing bathroom nightmare continues
Bought a set of taps for the bath.
as they were the only ones available that day.
Thought I could swap out the levers from my old taps! How naive am I?
Not really a problem to go from 1/4turn lever to full crosshead, but the crossheads are quite angular and dont match the shower temp head.
I have been looking at trying to find a replacement set but it seems a nightmare as they are 12 spline.
Ideally I am looking for some tap heads similar to :

Failing that could I just replace the whole cartridge and head unit?
I presume its not just as easy of buying one, it has to be the exact same size/fit etc

Many thanks in advance

Best way is to use a vernier calliper to measure the dimensions of the old cartridge and compare that to the detailed dimensional sketches on cartridge manufacturers/sellers websites although getting a combination of the right number of splines and correct dimensions may not be possible.

It a fit of pique, and realising that the rush wasnt so urgent I just swallowed the cost and bought the correct taps.
Must stop try so save money, it always costs more in the long run
