I want to connect a bath and sink waste (38mm) pipe into a short horizontal section of WC waste (100mm)before it goes through the external wall and enters the vertical stack (1st floor). Is this acceptable? What connections do I use?

Strap-on boss but unlikely you can get it low enough for a bath waste

Thanks, it's low enough, but (newly qualified) Building Control person, when visiting, wittered on about needing to make the connection via a stub stack, which made no sense to me. I mean I know what it is, but what difference does it make? She seemed to be concerned about WC waste backing up the bath waste if there was a blockage. :? Fitting stub stack woul mean cutting through the kithen ceiling - not something I want to do... :x
