Bathroom extractor fan - through the roof??

I have a 9m3 bathroom with two external walls.

One wall mainly consists of a window and leaves insufficient room for an extractor fan. The other wall is near my boilers flue.

Is it possible to vent the extractor fan out of the roof or soffits? This would allow me to fit a ceiling mounted extractor fan.

Any recommendations on which solution/fan/rating is best?

Where can I buy? Everyone seems to sell basic wall extractor fans or just a ceiling fan and no vent/ducting.
