Sorry, another fan question ....

Replacing an old knackered fan which worked on a pullcord which runs from a separate isolating switch. I've had a Manrose XF100S given to me which I expected to be a straight swap but the wiring is 2 core and earth plus a single core and earth, therefore, I assume, Live, Neutral and Switch Live!?

I should have taken a bit more notice when I removed the old fan last week and looked at the connections before I binned it.

Is it possible to use the XF100S or do I need to get a timer model?

Thanks.
