Hi all, really hope someone can help with this!!

Recently replaced our bathroom pull switch, however since we have done this, the upstairs lighting does not work (with the exception of the landing lighting), unless the bathroom pull switch is switched on!!

Driving me mad as we dont know why it's doing this!! Hubby is sure he replaced like for like exactly how it was, but obviously hasnt!!

Any help would be most appreciated!!

He's put the live loop to the rest of the upstairs lights in the terminal with the switched live to the bathroom light, so that the lighting that should be permanently fed is only live when the bathroom light is on.

Post a piccy of the wires.

There are probably three conductors, one in one terminal and two in another.

Those two need identiying and the switched live to the bathroom light putting in a terminal on its own, with the incoming and outgoing live loop conductors in the common terminal.
