Battery hedge trimmer repair ....Gtech HT20

Trying to repair this, one blade oscillates but the other one doesn't. I've dismantled it but not fixed it yet. I am curious if anyone knows the purpose of these not quite full circular half holes next to the full circular full holes.....thanks

Its like a planetary gear that converts circular motion into oscillation

Have you read the similar threads below. I think only one blade is supposed to "oscilate" and the other shoud be fixed, but there seems to be a lot of info in this post https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/gtech-hedge-trimmer.527073/page-2
