Bauknecht washing machine

Hi My bauknecht washing machine has a leak at front due to rip in rubber seal at the front of the drum. It is low down so leaking.
I wondered if I could turn the seal around so the rip was at the top and so less likely to leak. Any idea if this would work or how to do this?

doesnt work, water comes out the top instead.

needs a new door seal
