I'm looking for an advice concerning washing machine Bauknecht model Frankfurt 1600. It's been 7 yrs in use. Brushes changed last year.
Last week I changed the bearings and seal. But since then machine is having problems with the spinning, the drum cannot stabilize and hits the walls and parts inside. It seems it is off-balance.
I paid particular attention when I assembled the parts back together. Counterweight is firmly in place, the shock absorbers attached. I'm not quite sure about the springs as there are two positions on the drum, I opted for the upper position (I guess lower position - 1 cm lower - would hold the drum more firmly).
I will appreciate your advice.
