could anyone have a clue as to why it only ignites fully on hot water demand. heating side goes through a continuous cycle of lighting then going out. it`s a mate of mine who owns the boiler, so no pressure or anything. plus his mrs scares the hell out of me and she`s cold. bad times! any help on this would be appreciated, cheers. and for the record, i am an rgi. just a bit stumped.

cheers for that, but it doesn`t stay on long enough to overheat. the burner lights for 1 second then extinguishes and attempts to fire again, does this 3 or four times then goes to lockout.

get in front of the boiler with your manometer and multi meter and give baxi a call, sounds like the boiler is not getting rectification on heating, but is fine on HW.
