Hi there im after some help i have a customer that has a Baxi 80e combi boiler.
Im pulling my hair out.
The 1 st call out i had was to a leaking prv i replaced the prv topped boiler back up ran the boiler and noticed the pressure gauge moved up as quick as it heated up. so i dropped the pressure and recharged the pressure vessel to 1 bar. got the boiler going again and noticed the temp tok a steady rise up to 50 then shot to 80 and cut out after making a howling noise. to which the customer informed me ohhhh thats the noise it always makes.. I spoke to baxi who said it sounds like a blockage and to flush to which i did sure enough it did settle it all down and ran alot smoother i also adjusted working gas pressure as way way to high (27mbar on high and 10 mbar on low!) anyway after all that the boiler still howls and sounds like a fighter jet going over head as it gets up to temp every now and again.. any advise would be great
