Baxi Back Boiler Query

My back boiler makes a loud clunking noise when it first comes on,Sounds like a bit metal expanding with the heat being applied to it !

This only happens from cold as when the boiler has been running there is no noise at all !

Boiler was serviced just before Christmas and the guy serviced said all looked good,Only thing he picked up on was my ventilation was incorrect so he cored a hole and fitted a vent direct to the outside.

Anyone like to hazzard a guess as what this is likely to be and if it's something i should be worrying about ?

Probably just an expansion noise as you suggest.

My suggestion would be to ignore it and in time it will probably stop anyway.
