Hi there,

I am currently refitting my bathroom i have completely stripped the whole room and started from scratch i wanted a wall mounted towel radiator with the pipes coming from the wall i asked a plumber to come and move the pipes which he did and left some stop ends (?) On the exposed pipes (no issues), after replastering and decorating i came to fit towel radiator so i isolated f and e tank in loft and removed stop end to drain ch system to the point where i was fitting towel radiator, i fitted radiator turned the tap on to the f and e tank i heard running water for a while then i filled the new towel radiator ever since then the hw or ch doesnt seem to produce any heat, water comes out of hot taps but its stone cold boiler seems to fire when heating or hw turned on. My first impression is an airlock but my plumbing knowledge is extremely limited.
We have a baxi bermuda back boiler ( as it states in post title)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

It does sound like a airlock.

But many are quite difficult to cure.

You may be better calling a good heating engineer!

It does sound like an airlock & they can be an absolute pig to shift on these, if I were to do it I would have to remove the firefront.
Best to get someone in, or if you're not in any hurry then leave it alone for a day or two sometimes the air can clear itself over time.
