Hello, new poster here hoping for some advice about my Baxi Combi 105e. When I switch the boiler on it can take several attempts before it fires up - ie it sounds like it's trying to fire up but fails, then does this again 5 or so times, then the fan/flue fault flashes for a second before it finally ignites. Other than this it's working fine. No other error lights, and the fan/flue light only flashes once before the boiler fires up.
Any suggestions? The boiler's about 8 years old and this is the first problem we've had with it (other than the honeywell timer never working and the filling loop left inplace - but that's down to the dodgy installer) - it seemed to coincide with us having to repressurise it for the first time, but surely that must just be a coincidence?

Many Thanks for any advice you can offer.

yes, every 18 months or so if I'm honest, not quite yearly. We're due a service now - just wanted to know if this was a common problem with a simple solution. I wouldn't mess around with it myself, but am nervous about a huge repair bill...
