Hi
Our boiler stopped working this morning so got my dad over (electrician) and he went thru fault finding and found that there is power right upto pcb but the pcb is doing nothing. No neons on control panel oranything. No hot water and no heating.
Have now got a price on a pcb but bloke on phone just asked me if it could be something else that has caused pcb damage...
so i wondered can anyone tell me, is there a chance that the pcb has just packed up but not been affected by anything else?
don't want to replace pcb n it go again if fault lies elsewhere...thanks :)

As i rub my crystal ball.........

sorry, too few details to go on. It is possible it is just a pcb issue....and just as posible something else took the board out. You need a competant engineer to decide....otherwise it's just guess work

Pcbs rarely go on there own accord usually pump or fan takes them out.
Maybe a daft question but have you checked the 2 board fuses.

Of coarse he has checked the pcb fuse he is an electrician...
