Got a Baxi Combi 80 Eco. Always worked fine but all of a sudden wouldn't ignite and became noisy. Removed pump which was the noisy bit as is on its last legs and with some WD40 its running smooth and quiet again now. Will order a new one becasue I expect that won't last though.

Boiler still won't light now pump is back in place. Is there a bleed procedure to get it back up and running? I'm guessing that's the problem, the pressure gauge reads zero so I guess it won't light because of that. There are 5 pipes coming into the boiler from underneath, what is each one for?

Thanks for any help.

Filling loop is usually just under the boiler on these silver braided hose...AND There is an overheat stat that you will probably have to reset on these,in combustion chamber

The boiler will not work without the pressure being set to about 1.5 bar.

The Baxi may have an auto reset o/h stat.
