Baxi Combi - hot water to sink, but not shower.

Hello,

I really much hope someone may be able to help.

I have a Baxi Combi boiler (Bahama edition) -
problem is as follows -

* I turn on the hot tap for the bath and there is no hot water - the boiler does not fire up.


I can get hot water to the sink as this works fine, but the system does not seem to handle getting hot water to the bath!

When I turn the hot tap in the bath, the boiler shuts down again.

I had the baxi bloke out about 5 months ago and he replaced a few things on the boiler, (pressure switch I think) - so I guess it should not be that again!

I will call them tomorrow but their work is only guaranteed for 28 days!

They charge £170 flat rate - just hoping there might be another option??

just to provide a bit more information -

It seems that the boiler works fine when only a small amount of hot water is required.

When I open the hot tap up in full, the boiler then cuts out.
