I have a Baxi Potterton Instant 105e which appears to function well CH and DHW works fine together boiler modulates etc. I have recently changed a leaking radiator valve due to low pressure now holding pressure when hot at 2bar. However, when the CH is off and the DHW pre heat starts you can hear what appears to be air in the system, the bleed vale appears to worked although covered in lime scale. I have bleed the air from at the boiler several times but it keeps returning what is causing this fault?

Are you saying this is normal, I thought it could be a leak in the boiler CH loop ( none visible) when DHW is called for by the pre heat or is it a faulty expansion vessel?
I was asking if this is a common problem with this boiler!!!!!!!!!
