Baxi 105e Instant.
The boiler appears to work normally the CH works and the DHW heats to the set temperature. However, when the DHW tap is turned off and when preheat hits temperature, you hear the pump over runs for 30 sec to dissipate the heat, However, and only during the DHW over run I hear air in the system but the air is not heard when CH is on but only when DHW over run.
Is this normal, do I have a fault, blocked or water leak on the plate heater exchanger (perished seals)or pressure vessel, no water leaks visible on the boiler, I have been told this could be due to air trapped in the pressure vessel. As I said above all appears to work fine but I am concerned that I could be running the system with insufficient water that could damage the heat exchanger etc.
Any advice would be appreciated
