The problem is when the DHW is turned off and when preheat hits temperature, you hear the pump over runs for 30 sec to dissipate the heat and during the DHW over run I can hear air in the system but the air is not heard when CH is on and only on DHW over run.

Is this normal, do I have a fault, I have been told this could be due to air trapped in the pressure vessel. All appears to work fine but I am concerned that I could be running the system with insufficient water that could damage the heat exchanger etc.

Any advice would be appreciated

Your boiler is a 105e instant, There has been a redesign of the expansion vessel on these to stop this air noise, but it really does not harm them just nuisance noise

Thanks for the reply, can this be repaired under the guarantee as its a design fault??
