BC Inspection points

So I just got my inspection plan back from BC it states:

Please contact your surveyor for an inspection once you have reached each of the following stages:
Commencement
Key
Completion ​

What does "Key" mean or is that a typo please? Its to install a new lintel so i am surprised they want any more than to see the right steel is in place with the right cavity tray etc.

I may be wrong, but I suspect it means (as it says literally!):

Key Stage/Stages

I.e checking the lintel is properly in place and to spec, with adequate support and padstones, before being enclosed.

If in any doubt, contact BC, they would be able to clarify exactly what they would like to see!
