Beko DFN 1000X won't fill with water

At least I think that's the case anyway. I have been using the dishwasher in the past with no problem then it just stopped at the point when it would normally fill with water and advise me to contact a service engineer.

I haven't done anything that might have resulted in a reason as far as I know. The hose isn't kinked or anything and the water supply hasn't been turned off.

I can't find a manual that might give me an idea of the water mechanics, valves, pumps etc so can't even start to guess what the reason might be.

Has anyone got some sort of idea what might be wrong please.
 
Could possibly be the water inlet/solenoid valve has failed. This could be an electrical failure or a mechanical failure.
