After doing a wash and spin(1600)cycle the load is still dripping wet.If i then put the wet washing back in the m/c and just do a spin(1600)cycle it comes out good-any ideas!
Thanks.
The drain hose goes into an open drain so i would have thought any blockage would just flood our washroom, hose is fine no kinks.
It does drain quickly on an empty program cycle.
Yes,on spin it does go round, no probs there.
No overide buttons depressed.
I did think that maybe i was overloading the m/c but then why if i put it through a fast spin cycle the load comes out good?
Maybe the motor/pcb overheating during the wash and then not spinning, but from your description you are putting it straight on a spin afterwards (?) so that theory doesn't work!
You haven't changed the program you use recently have you? Not all programs have a full spin at the end of the wash.
Other than that.............errmmmm
Edit...
Had a thought.
One reason for it not spinning is that there is still too much water in it, hence the questions above. Sometimes the machine will think there is too much water in it even when there isn't. This is due to the pressure bottle being blocked, or partially blocked.
Not sure where that might be on your machine, but if you want to look for it. (unplug the machine first) It's usually a small plastic bottle which has a small bore tube connected to it. It will be low down on the machine somewhere and the tube will go up to the top of the machine where it connects to a pressure switch. (Big round switch with tube + wires connected to it) If you can find it, you need to check that the lower plastic bottle is clean. ie. not full of congealed soap.
Don't forget though. Unplug the machine before you do anything.
