Hi, I'm shortly about to plumb in wc and shower (electric, not power shower), in respect of the hot / cold water pipes I plan to use plastic piping but should I go for compression OR pushfit?
I'm being drawn to compression which I have some experience with, in fact my only plumbing experience...
How do I connect the plastic to my cold and hot water 22mm copper pipes? These connections are pretty much out of site so should be ultra reliable...
ta for any advise.

There's nothing wrong with push-fit, but leak-free installation isn't as simple as some people think - if you don't know what you're doing then you might get it wrong.

Compression is more forgiving of defects in the pipe/tube.
