Howdy,

I am just about to replace my shower mixer in a rental property for the 3rd time.

The water is very hard and generally things seem to leak after 18months or so.

Do I just accept I buy a new mixer every 18months or is there a 'repairable' mixer I should be looking at.

I have an external bar type (moved to external as was bored of changing the internal versions!)

I was going to go for a Mira bog standard replacement from Screwfix....

Any pointers?

I would go with what you have found or Bristan do an equivalent valve which feels slightly better quality than the Coda (mainly the shower riser kit and head rather than the valve)
