Best spacers for UPVC window?

We have had a few quotes for UPVC windows and one salesman was raving about thermoflex spacers, and how they were so much better than warm edge aluminium ones.

Has anyone with UPVC knowledge got some advice for me on this?

Take everything that comes out a salesman's mouth with a pinch of salt, he wants your money so he can feed his family, they will tell you what you want to hear and will slate every local company in order to get your signature

For most windows to get an A rating they require warm edge spacer bars which are plastic instead of aluminum.
There a several makes of warm edge bars but as a homeowner you would never notice the difference between them. As mentioned it was all salesmen rubbish.

If your going A rated there is not a huge difference between the different make of windows the important thing is that they are well fitted. Try to get recommendations from friends and family, Failing that take a look up and down your road to see who has the nicest windows and ask them who did it.

Try to go with a local company rather than the big nationals
