Best way to cap sink waste

Afternoon peeps. I want to cap off pipe so that there is nothing showing above ground when vinyl is laid. Do the caps have a raised end or are they completely flat. Just concerned if not completely level it will show through vinyl.

Is there away of cutting off pipe slightly below the level of the floor ? Cheers

Push a tight bit of plastic down it and then fill it with silicone adhesive (not sealant)
