Best way to reattach

Hello, recently my father in law broke the bottom cupboard door (photos attached). What is the best way of reattaching? It seems any hinges that where there previously for the bottom door have been binned.

You can buy new hinges.
You can also buy hinge repair plates that work on both the door or cabinet frame if damaged
