Hello

We have recently moved into a new house that has about 10 six panel internal pine doors. We are happy with the colour of the doors but I wanted to treat them, a couple are a little bit faded in places. I don't want to get into a big job of stripping them down so I wondered about Teak Oil, Danish Oil or Wax ? Any thoughts on what would work best ?

Thanks

Matt

really, you need to try to identify what has been put on them already.
oil or wax won't take if it's been varnished or treated with a high solids stain. only where it's down to the bare wood.
if there's evidence of a surface layer peeling or cracking then you will be in this situation and need to top up with the same or similar.
