Bevel in drywall

Installed new plasterboard two days ago, however when coming to tile with 600 x 300 mm tiles, the plasterboard bevels in the middle of the wall, it juts out about 5-10mm.

Had a go at putting the tiles on this evening, and could just about get the tile to fix with a 10mm bed of adhesive (with the back of the tile also butted) but it didn't look secure at all so had to take it back off.

What is the best solution to fix this? The issue is between two studs where the plasterboard had to be "snapped" in the middle of the two studs (but held (barely) together with the paper on the far side of the board) in order to get the sheet into the room it was going into to.

Should we simply cut the board back out between the two studs, and re sheet with fresh board, or is there a work around that would allow us to tile without any issues?

Preparation is 50% of tile work: ensuring that studs are same plane & plumb is part of prepping.
Its possible that you will have to remove some or all of the boards, & correct the studding, for tiling to work.
Further, If walls that meet at right angles are not plumb and at a true 90 then tiling wont work.

Dont ever "snap" plaster board to get it in position - it will later bite you back.
