Biasi Boiler

Hi all

this is my first post and im hoping someone out there might be able to help me.
About 6 months ago my biasi boiler would lock out red light in the middlw of 2 green after just half a bath of hot water if i continued to run it after it had locked it would kick in hot again after a bucket full of cold this cycle would continue as id only get about like for like hot to cold.
in this time ive never had a problem with the central heating until this evening now when i turn the heating on i get 2 green lights flashing then a the red in the middle is constant with the two green flashing together
i dont no the model ive had it about 4 years from new.
sorry my tech explanation is poor and if anyone can point me in the right direction with the information provided i would be greatfull

What model is it? No badge on front of boiler? No users instructions?

its a riva compact HE

Looks like you've got a possible ignition problem, or the boiler pre-ignition check sequence has flagged a fault. And therefore it's time you were pointed in the direction of a Gas Safe registered engineer.....I suggest you put the cover back on and call one in.

Just seems strange that I had it playing up with hot water after a period and now the heating!
If it was ignition it wouldn't of worked for the water for that period of time would it??

There are several PRE- ignition checks the boiler carries out before it tries to ignite....
